The offshore island in hot and humid climate zone has unique climate characteristics, such as high temperature, high humidity, intensive solar radiation, small day/year temperature difference, high salt fog and annual sea breeze, which is different from the inland climate in China. Studies the thermal neutral temperature, thermal preference temperature, thermal comfort temperature scope and the construction strategy of the indoor environment of island reef buildings by combining subjective questionnaire and objective parameter measurement. Recruits 150 island residents as subjects, and obtains 570 valid questionnaires through field experiments. The results show that the thermal neutral SET is 25.4 ℃, the thermal preference SET is 27 ℃, and the thermal comfort SET range is 20.2 to 30.5 ℃. The results show that temperature is the main factor affecting the thermal comfort of the subjects in the high temperature and high humidity environment of the island. On the contrary, the relative humidity does not significantly affect the thermal comfort vote of the subjects.
